Sales Development Representative - Hospitality

Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Montreal. This role is the initial point of contact for potential customers, focusing on driving revenue growth through lead generation and qualification for the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in lead generation or selling technology-based solutions.

What this role involves:

• Driving new business growth by qualifying warm inbound leads.
• Nurturing inbound leads for the inside sales team.
• Creating a positive first impression for prospects and customers.
• Identifying customer needs to determine the suitability of Lightspeed solutions.
• Managing multiple lead sources, including calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
• Managing the customer database using Salesforce.
• Developing new sales pipeline strategies with the Sales Development Manager.
• Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in technology (software, mobile, or other) is a plus.
• Experience in Hospitality is an asset.
• English proficiency is needed, bilingualism in French is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Autonomous, outgoing, and a self-starter.
• Tech-savvy.
