Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Quality Test Developer to join their Hospitality team in Montreal. This role involves building and solidifying product testing strategies, acceptance testing, and test case design, as well as coordinating defect management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to maintain high product quality and improve existing quality frameworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Write automated test scripts, create test cases and test plans to identify software problems
  • Improve existing quality framework to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with Quality Specialists, Product Managers, Developers and Designers
  • Act as an advocate for maintaining the highest product quality
  • Share knowledge and best practices, and propose process improvements
  • Participate in daily agile ceremonies

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in writing automated test scripts in Python
  • Experience in automation test design, planning, execution, analysis, and issue escalation
  • Experience with Selenium or Playwright
  • Problem solver and critical thinker
  • Analytical with great problem-solving skills
  • Natural curiosity and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Eager to learn new technologies and methodologies
