Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support its commercial teams in KSA and the wider Middle East. This role is based in Riyadh and reports to the Head of Legal for those markets. The Commercial Counsel will work alongside accomplished professionals in the luxury electric vehicle industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on commercial agreements, offering timely counsel.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements supporting the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to negotiate partnership agreements and draft campaign terms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and legislative changes.
  • Proactively support process improvements within the legal team.
  • Provide legal support for corporate policies, trainings, and compliance programs.
  • Manage outside counsel as necessary.
  • Complete other assigned legal work.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree and good standing in at least one state bar.
  • Five (5) or more years of legal experience, with at least three (3) years in commercial legal roles (law firm or multinational corporation).
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal analysis to all business layers.
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively to provide practical solutions to novel legal issues.
