Rocket Lab is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner for a temporary role at their Global Headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This role is responsible for providing advice and counsel in all areas of HR, including employee relations, employee development, and policy interpretation. The People & Culture Business Partner will formulate partnerships across the People & Culture function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.
What this role involves: - Leading Learning & Development for North America.
- Providing performance management guidance to managers.
- Strategizing with business units on engagement and workforce planning.
- Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Acting as project manager for HR initiatives.
- Supporting global mobility and managing immigration cases.
Requirements: - 5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of employment labor laws.
- Working knowledge of HR disciplines.
- Tactical skills in coordinating HR services.
