Apera AI, a Vancouver-based startup specializing in robotics, AI, and machine vision, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in the manufacturing automation sector. The Business Development Manager will identify and close new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and collaborate with internal technical teams. This role requires strategic hunting for new customers, executing sales strategies, and surpassing revenue targets.
Responsibilities: - Acquire and close new business opportunities in automation and manufacturing.
- Expand existing client relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Lead and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify segments, competitors, and stakeholders.
- Implement a sales execution plan covering client engagement and lead conversion.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Manage project implementation for major client engagements.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives for Apera AI’s market presence.
- Manage customer satisfaction and resolve complex challenges.
- Evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance.
Requirements: - 3+ years of sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base.
- Experience developing and leading a sales project within your team.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field, or technical sales background.
- Experience in the manufacturing automation field.
