Apera AI, a Vancouver-based startup specializing in robotics, AI, and machine vision technologies, is seeking a Business Development Manager for the South Carolina region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding Apera AI’s market presence in the manufacturing automation sector. This role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities: - Acquire and close new business opportunities in automation and manufacturing.
- Expand existing client relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Lead and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify market segments and competitors.
- Implement a sales execution plan covering client engagement and lead conversion.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Manage project implementation for major client engagements.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives for Apera AI’s market presence.
- Manage customer satisfaction and resolve complex challenges.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance.
Requirements: - 3+ years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base.
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading a sales project within your team.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical field, or a background in technical sales with a non-technical degree.
- Experience in the manufacturing automation field.
