Apera AI, a Vancouver-based startup specializing in robotics, AI, and machine vision, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in Tennessee. This role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal technical teams.
Responsibilities: - Acquire and close new business opportunities in automation and manufacturing.
- Expand existing client relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Lead and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify segments, competitors, and stakeholders.
- Implement a sales execution plan covering client engagement and lead conversion.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Manage project implementation for major client engagements.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives for Apera AI’s market presence.
- Manage customer satisfaction and resolve complex challenges.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance.
Requirements: - 3+ years of sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base.
- Experience developing and leading a sales project within your team.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field, or technical sales background.
- Experience in the manufacturing automation field.
- Sales acumen.
- Experience selling robotics, vision systems, complex products.
