Apera AI, a Vancouver-based startup specializing in robotics, AI, and machine vision, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in Tennessee. This role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal technical teams.Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and close new business opportunities in automation and manufacturing.
  • Expand existing client relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify segments, competitors, and stakeholders.
  • Implement a sales execution plan covering client engagement and lead conversion.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized client solutions.
  • Manage project implementation for major client engagements.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives for Apera AI’s market presence.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and resolve complex challenges.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base.
  • Experience developing and leading a sales project within your team.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field, or technical sales background.
  • Experience in the manufacturing automation field.
  • Sales acumen.
  • Experience selling robotics, vision systems, complex products.
