Associate Commercial Counsel

Job Description

Ditto is seeking an Associate Commercial Counsel to join their legal team. The candidate will manage and negotiate commercial agreements and support cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and balances legal risks with business objectives.

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Advising internal teams on legal risks and contractual matters.
• Supporting legal operations by assisting in implementing and managing a contract management system.
• Conducting legal research to support contract negotiations.
• Staying updated on changes in legislation and industry standards.
• Serving as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
• Fostering strong relationships with external partners.
• Working with General Counsel to develop contract playbooks and train legal AI assistant.

• J.D. degree and license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–5+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements in the tech or SaaS industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and an ability to balance legal and business considerations.
• Familiarity with legal tech tools and contract lifecycle management systems.
• Must be licensed to practice law in one or more of these locations preferred: NY, GA, DE, or CA
