Job Description
Podium is seeking a Security Engineering Intern to join their team. Podium's mission is to equip local businesses with a comprehensive platform and AI-driven tools to convert leads into paying customers. The intern will contribute to building high-quality experiences for small businesses worldwide, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers.

Role involves:
  • Collaboratively define and execute Podium scheduling experiences.
  • Conceive of innovative new features, ideas, and flows.
  • Engage in a cross-functional team.
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions.
  • Lead projects and teams.
  • Coach fellow designers.
  • Conduct user research and synthesize results.
  • Identify the needs of local businesses and improve existing features.
  • Help define the short and long-term roadmap.
  • Design innovative and intuitive experiences and flows.
  • Give and receive feedback on designs and strategic product decisions.

Requirements:
  • Experience designing and shipping consumer-grade software.
  • Familiarity with software engineering.
  • Capable of clarifying complex information architecture.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or other design tools.
  • Strong mobile design skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good UX practitioner.
  • Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design.
  • Ability to prototype interactive mobile experiences.
  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for building products to help local businesses.
