Public Sector Account Executive (Northeast)

Job Description

Cisco is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to drive sales of the ThousandEyes platform within the Northeast U.S. This individual contributor role focuses on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the Federal and SLED sectors. The Account Executive will develop strategic relationships with public sector accounts and channel partners, executing well-defined account plans to achieve sales objectives and bookings targets.Responsibilities:

• Identify and source sales opportunities.
• Meet sales objectives and bookings targets.
• Collaborate with Cisco Account Managers and specialists.
• Work with Customer Success and Product Management teams.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Develop and execute account strategies.
• Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of sales territory management experience.
• Experience selling enterprise software to network buyers.
• SaaS sales experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
