Job Description
Chainguard is seeking a Partner Sales Specialist to help scale its co-sell motion with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and strategic partners. This role is crucial for building field alignment, driving partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, and supporting joint go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate will play a key part in shaping how Chainguard grows with and through its most important partners.
What This Role Involves:
- Building and managing relationships with partner field sellers and aligning on co-sell opportunities.
- Driving partner-sourced and influenced pipeline by coordinating with Chainguard’s sales and partner teams.
- Tracking and managing all partner activity in Salesforce and support deal progression.
- Helping develop co-sell enablement materials and ensure both internal and external teams are equipped to win.
- Supporting joint campaigns, events, and field engagements with partners and field marketing.
- Traveling as needed for partner meetings, enablement sessions, and industry events.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a sales, BDR/SDR, or sales support role, with interest in partner-facing work.
- A strong grasp of sales pipeline fundamentals and experience working cross-functionally with sales teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or experience in high-growth infrastructure or cybersecurity companies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and experience managing pipeline or co-sell workflows.
- Self-starter attitude.
