Heartflow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support customer administration and billing professionals in successfully billing and collecting reimbursement on FFRct claims. This role involves collaborating with the Marketing team to create educational material, educating the Sales team on coding and billing, and working directly with customers to ensure compliant coding and provide support on prior authorization and claims appeals.Responsibilities:
Work with Marketing to create educational materials.
Support the commercial team by addressing coding and billing concerns.
Educate customers on appropriate use of Category III codes and billing scenarios.
Work with revenue cycle management at customer sites and internally.
Interpret medical records to ensure accurate claim submissions.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address reimbursement issues.
Collaborate with the Field Sales team to identify facilities needing reimbursement education.
Address questions on patient coverage, access, and reimbursement.
Conduct claim reviews with practices.
Maintain a deep understanding of Heartflow policies.
Keep abreast of customer and market access industry trends.
Provide coverage, coding, and reimbursement information to key staff.
Share insights into customer needs and payer issues.
Requirements:
Outstanding knowledge of coding and billing in the US healthcare system.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and customer support skills.
Strong understanding of hospital billing and coding infrastructure.
Ability to interpret policies and medical necessity language.
Greater than 5 years of experience in coding and billing at a US hospital.
Demonstrated medical service coding and reimbursement experience.
Associates Degree in a related field (required), Bachelor’s preferred.
CPC or COC certification preferred.
Heartflow offers:
A remote position with up to 30% travel throughout the US.
A base salary range of $84,500 to $110,000 per year.
