Archer Aviation is seeking a Sr. People Systems (Workday) Specialist to drive continuous improvement within their HR technology ecosystem. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing enhancements to Workday, aligning with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will blend technical proficiency with HR functional expertise, streamlining processes and automating workflows.Archer Aviation is based in San Jose, California, and is building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
What this role involves: - Establishing best practices for system governance, security, and compliance
- Serving as Workday subject matter expert
- Configuring and maintaining Workday business processes
- Partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business units
- Conducting regular audits and validation checks to maintain data accuracy
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and end-user training
- Assisting in end-to-end Workday projects
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues
Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday HRIS
- Experience configuring Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance and Security
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, etc.)
- Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations (e.g., SOX)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work onsite in office
