Job Description
Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking a Stator Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the development of its all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.   • Development of electric motor processes (stator/rotor).
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability efforts.
  • Conduct process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA).
  • Develop manufacturing build plan.
  • Create training documentation.
  • Design manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
  • Participate in prototype builds.
  • Develop tooling and automation equipment specifications.
  • Implement process control strategies.
  • Manage equipment procurement and deployment.
  • Support first unit builds and testing.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in electric motor manufacturing (stator/rotor).
  • Experience with winding, laser, and TIG welding processes.
  • Experience commissioning and improving equipment.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD.
  • Experience in statistical process control and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain organization in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Benefits:
  • Targeted base pay between $115,260 - $135,000.
