Adyen is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team in San Francisco. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies. By providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single global solution, Adyen helps businesses achieve their ambitions faster.This role involves processing in-house payroll in the US using Workday Payroll, and coordinating payroll in the LATAM / EMEA region with external payroll providers. The Payroll Specialist will report to the Global Payroll Team Lead and be part of the Amsterdam-based payroll team.What this role involves:
Championing payroll automation, data, and scale.
Managing US payroll data using Workday Payroll.
Ensuring payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Collaborating with accounting and finance teams on journals and reconciliation.
Participating in audits for 401K, Workers Compensation, and general audits.
Providing payroll reports to HR, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Equity.
Processing payments for final paychecks, adjustments, and special pay.
Requirements:
2-5 years of US in-house payroll processing experience.
Strong knowledge of Workday and Workday Payroll.
CPP preferred.
Experience processing equity transactions.
Understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes.
Project management skills.

The annual base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $155,000
