Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their team in Chicago. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player with a passion for mobile payments and a desire to work on cutting-edge solutions. This is a hybrid role, valuing in-person collaboration.

Role involves:
  • Working on a cutting-edge solution, building the future of mobile payments in the form of SDKs.
  • Using the most up-to-date iOS stack (iOS 17/18, async/await).
  • Working on mission-critical SDKs used by merchants like Uber, Booking.com, and McDonald's.
  • Authenticating financial transactions following the latest cutting-edge protocols and technologies.
  • Tackling security and compliance challenges.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in iOS development using Swift.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with building libraries used by other developers (Nice to have).
  • Motivated, enthusiastic team player.
  • Able to write reliable and clearly understandable code.
  • Willing to learn and improve.
  • Flexible, open to new ideas.
  • Proactive, can bring great ideas to improve the solution.
