Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role is crucial for building and supporting HR programs, policies, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess HR experience and collaborate with HRBPs to understand organizational goals, culture, and challenges. They will also work with HR Centers of Excellence to provide valuable services. A strong understanding of the Malaysian employment landscape is essential.Role involves:
  • Delivering HR services as a country HR Manager.
  • Ensuring HR Operations for Malaysia.
  • Resolving complex policy queries.
  • Mentoring managers on Employee Relations matters.
  • Partnering with Global HRBPs and COEs.
  • Supporting business transformation, acquisitions, and mergers.
  • Leading projects related to performance issues and conflict resolution.
  • Ensuring smooth payroll processing.
  • Analyzing and recommending improvements to HR policies.
  • Conducting exit interviews.
  • Maintaining employee data in Workday.
  • Managing HR operation duties.
  • Assisting Regional HR teams with various projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Understanding of local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience partnering with senior HR and employee leaders.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong employment compliance knowledge.
  • Solid expertise in key HR areas.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly data literate.
  • Innovative and creative approach to problem solving.
