Job Description

Pulley is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their team and contribute to building intuitive tools for startup founders. Pulley aims to simplify company creation by providing cap table management tools that help companies understand and optimize their equity. The engineer will collaborate with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to create polished and performant experiences.

The Frontend Engineer will play a key role in shaping the future of startup tooling in an AI-native world, working on high-impact features that are foundational to Pulley's platform.

What this role involves:

  • Building and owning rich, interactive product features across the web platform.
  • Partnering with design and product teams to shape user experiences.
  • Collaborating with backend and AI engineers to deliver seamless integrations.
  • Contributing to the evolving frontend architecture using React, TypeScript, and modern tooling.
  • Improving product quality and team velocity through clean code and code reviews.
  • Helping define team best practices and contributing to shared components and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience building production-level frontend applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React or similar frameworks.
  • A product mindset focused on user experience and business value.
  • A strong eye for UI detail and interest in creating polished, accessible user interfaces.
  • Comfort working across the stack and collaborating with cross-functional teammates.
  • A bias toward action, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
