Box is seeking a Backend Software Engineer II to join their DocGen team in Amsterdam. This role is crucial for integrating DocGen with other Box products and boosting customer adoption. The position is based in the Amsterdam office and requires coming into the office at least two days a week.Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, helping organizations collaborate, manage content lifecycles, secure critical content, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI.What this role involves:
Building, improving, and supporting DocGen implementation.
Working with cutting-edge technologies.
Collaborating with engineers to foster solid engineering principles.
Leading large-scale projects to completion.
Modeling solid engineering practices around architectural design, testability, scalability, and maintainability.
Partnering with product managers and designers to align on requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented or functional programming language (Java preferred).
Problem-solving skills.
Passion for solving hard technical problems.
Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
