Job Description
DRW is seeking a passionate Go developer to join their team in Montreal. The successful candidate will develop essential software used by market strategists, researchers, and engineering teams to implement and analyze algorithmic trading strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and experienced technologists in a supportive environment.
The role involves:
  • Creating scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices.
  • Analyzing and discussing stakeholder requirements.
  • Leading discussions on code implementation, testing, and software architecture best practices.
  • Leading projects and new initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other development team members to solve design and coding problems.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • A dedicated team player and passionate problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Go.
  • Passion for clean code, software and systems architecture, and building robust, performant, and maintainable systems.
  • Experience working with Linux systems, client/server protocols, distributed and event-driven systems, data storage systems, data pipelines, and containers in a cloud environment.
  • Some front-end development experience would be an asset.
