Job Description
TaxBit, founded in 2018, is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to their SaaS platform that streamlines tax reporting and accounting for digital assets. Role Involves:
  • Building modern solutions to complex problems.
  • Partnering with designers and product managers.
  • Writing well-designed, tested, readable, and maintainable code.
  • Participating in code reviews.
  • Owning problem-solving across systems and services.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and services.
  • Experience building scalable distributed system architecture, APIs, and modern web frontends.
  • Passion for code quality, continuous delivery, automated testing, and incident response.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong coding skills in Typescript NodeJS/React and/or Python.
  • Experience with a variety of cloud storage solutions (SQL, Blob, Document, Search).
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, DataDog, and GitHub CI/CD.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark/Iceberg/Hive/Kafka/Presto etc.
  • Familiarity and interest in the emerging and evolving Web3 space.
