Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join their team in Cary, North Carolina. This is an on-call position that supports multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No formal Montessori training is required, as the company provides training during orientation. This role offers a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori, with potential for transitioning into a full-time Assistant Teacher position.Guidepost Montessori is committed to dramatically increasing the amount of high-fidelity, authentic Montessori programs, not only in the U.S., but around the globe!Role Involves:
  • Supporting multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms.
  • Providing coverage when full-time teachers are out sick or on vacation.
  • Participating in training provided by the company.
Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid state background check.
  • Warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Preferred: ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6.
