Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a flexible Substitute Teacher to join their team in Flower Mound, Texas. This is an on-call position that supports multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No formal Montessori training is required, as the company provides training during orientation. This role offers a great opportunity to get a foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori, with potential for transitioning into a full-time Assistant Teacher position.Role involves:
  • Supporting mixed-age Montessori classrooms
  • Providing coverage for full-time teachers who are absent
  • Participating in orientation and on-boarding training
Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Valid state background check
  • Warm and friendly demeanor
  • Preferred: ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6
