Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join their team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This is an on-call position that supports multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms. The Substitute Teacher role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori. Many substitutes transition into full-time Assistant Teachers when openings are available.
Role Involves:
  • Providing coverage for full-time teachers who are out sick or on vacation.
  • Supporting multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms.
  • Opportunity to transition into a full-time Assistant Teacher role.
Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid state background check.
  • Warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Preferred: ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6.
