Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join their team in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a Montessori environment and potentially transition into a full-time Assistant Teacher position. The Substitute Teacher will support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms, providing coverage when full-time teachers are absent. Training will be provided as part of the orientation and onboarding process.

Role Involves:
  • Supporting mixed-age Montessori classrooms.
  • Providing coverage for full-time teachers.
  • Participating in training and onboarding.

Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid state background check.
  • Warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Preferred: ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6.
