Guidepost Montessori School at Mansfield is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) to support a mixed-age class of preschool children in a Montessori environment. In this role, the Lead Guide will play a crucial part in fostering independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in children aged 3 to 6 years.Guidepost Montessori believes in providing personalized support to each child, working with them individually and in small groups to demonstrate the use of materials and activities. The Lead Guide will prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that fosters concentration and deep learning.Role Involves:

• Observing each child to understand and meet their needs.
• Preparing an environment that fosters concentration and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence in children.
• Providing individual and small-group lessons.
• Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.
• Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Requirements:

• Obtained or willing to obtain a Montessori diploma for 3-6.
• Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a group setting.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
• Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (any subject).
