Guidepost Montessori in Flower Mound, Texas is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to join their team. The Lead Infant Teacher will support a mixed-age class of infant age children in a Montessori environment. The teacher will prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest, providing personalized support to each child. They will work with children individually and in small groups, demonstrating how to use the materials and perform activities with them.Role involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs
• Preparing an environment that fosters trust and independence
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence
• Forming personal connections with each child
• Communicating and collaborating with parents

An ideal candidate:

• Is interested in pursuing Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma
• Has experience working with children ages 0-3
• Is familiar with child-led philosophies or open to learning more
• Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree
