Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for their Verona, Wisconsin school. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler children in a Montessori environment. Guidepost Montessori is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to foster independence and captivate children's interests.Role involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence in children.
  • Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills and language development.
  • Forming personal connections with each child and fostering a community of respect.
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents.
An ideal candidate:
  • Is interested in pursuing Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma.
  • Has experience working with children ages 0-3.
  • Is familiar with child-led philosophies or open to learning more.
  • Has Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree.
