Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher for their Timber Ridge school in Frisco, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to nurture toddlers in a thoughtfully designed environment that promotes growth, exploration, and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children in a Montessori setting, preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest. They will provide personalized support, working with children individually and in small groups, demonstrating the use of materials, and helping them understand their experiences.

Role Involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
  • Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy.
  • Forming personal connections with each child.
  • Collaborating with parents.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Interested in Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
  • Has a Bachelor’s Degree.
