Contract Senior Software Engineer (React/Node)

YLD is seeking a Contract Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React and Node to join their remote team in Europe. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled developer who exemplifies the highest standards in software engineering and enjoys sharing their knowledge and experience with others. They will work in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of innovative products.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and delivering software within interesting projects.
• Working in an Agile environment (Scrum) with a test-first mindset.
• Pair programming and code reviews.

Requirements:

• Commercial experience of working with React and Node.
• In-depth knowledge of CSS.
• Experience with Component composition and state management.
• Knowledge and experience with the up-to-date transpiling, bundling, and packaging ecosystem.
• Experience with documentation generation tools.
• Experience with linting and formatting tools.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery.
• Experience in testing your products with Unit, Integration, End to End, and Visual Regression tests.
• Experience working with Design Systems.
• Knowledge of Typescript.
