Job Description
Alpaca, a US-based brokerage infrastructure technology company, is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to support their globally distributed team members and ensure the organization's security. The IT Team is fully remote. This role reports to the IT Support Lead.

Role involves:
  • Being the "Go-to-Person" for IT helpdesk requests
  • Diagnosing and providing IT support for staff
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding activities with HR and Security
  • Setting up and deploying laptops, devices, software, and hardware
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving hardware assets
  • Managing MDM system, including BYOD
  • Maintaining the firm's IT asset inventory
  • Managing and securing endpoint devices
  • Providing staff training on IT-related topics
  • Assisting with change management and procurement

Requirements:
  • Excitement about Alpaca’s mission
  • 3+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience
  • Experience with cloud-centric environments and cybersecurity
  • Experience with traditional on-prem LAN/WAN environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Availability for on-call rotations and after-hours responses
