Job Description
Forter is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Principal Implementation Engineer to serve as the technical face of the company to its customers. This role is based in Singapore and requires fluency in Japanese and English to support clients in Japan and across APAC. The Principal Implementation Engineer will manage the full technical integration lifecycle for enterprise customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical matters during onboarding, from pre-sale to go-live.
Role involves:
- Managing the client onboarding process.
- Answering technical questions pre- and post-sale.
- Assessing customer needs and resolving technical questions.
- Identifying and adapting Forter’s products and services.
- Building and maintaining detailed project plans.
- Leading regular project calls with customer stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in technical implementation, integration, or solution engineering roles.
- Client-facing experience with enterprise customers, ideally in SaaS, payments, fraud prevention, or eCommerce.
- Strong technical knowledge of API integrations, JavaScript, JSON, and web/database technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across diverse stakeholders and geographies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
