Senior Consultant (m/w/d) – CMT Retail & Lifestyle

Job Description

YouGov is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Client Management Team (CMT) in the Retail & Lifestyle division. The Senior Consultant will play a crucial role in managing and expanding client relationships with multinational retailers. They will be responsible for sales of the Consumer Panel product range and support the account team. The focus will be on advising clients using the Consumer Panel and Advanced Solutions portfolios to develop tailored insights.Role involves:

• Organizing and managing multinational retailers, including supporting strategy development.
• Independently handling and implementing client requirements.
• Conducting client-oriented data analysis and deriving conclusions and recommendations.
• Presenting analysis results to clients.
• Optimizing internal work processes and initiating efficiency measures.
• Ensuring and improving collaboration with other departments and interfaces.
• Supporting the resolution of quality issues.
• Collaborating with global Consumer Panel teams and Europanel.

Requirements:

• Completed Master's degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent German (C1 level) and very good English skills.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Openness and a collaborative working style.
• Clear, confident communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Self-initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience in the FMCG sector is desirable.
• Good sales skills and negotiation skills.
• 3 years of professional experience in Consulting, Marketing/Sales, or Market Research.
