Staff Software Engineer

Snyk is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Runtime Insights Team in Tel Aviv. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting exceptional software, solving complex problems, and driving innovation in application security. This role involves developing innovative solutions for capturing and analyzing runtime data to provide developers and security teams with enhanced context for vulnerability prioritization and remediation.

The role involves:

Requirements:

• Experience with Typescript or Go, or experience learning a new language.
• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, leading and mentoring engineers.
• Understanding of automated testing and code quality.
• Prioritization of collaboration, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Ability to deliver high-quality code using continuous delivery.
• Comfort working across the stack as part of a cross-functional team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Promotion of testing as a natural part of any coding effort.
