Staff Product Manager

Job Description

Snyk is seeking a Staff Product Manager to drive the next generation of application security within Snyk Code. This role involves leading the evolution of Snyk Code, serving as the visionary and strategist behind product investments. The Staff Product Manager will refine and own the Snyk Code product strategy, building business cases based on business and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Becoming the go-to expert in application security within the software development domain, particularly in the context of SAST.
• Partnering with senior leaders to chart the ambitious long-term course for Snyk Code.
• Driving the execution of product strategy and ensuring seamless alignment across the organization.
• Showcasing Snyk Code to strategic customers and prospects.
• Deep diving into user insights and data to uncover new frontiers for Snyk Code features and enhancements.
• Spearheading strategic product initiatives, collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams.
• Elevating Snyk's thought leadership by engaging with industry analysts and the press.
• Mentoring other Product Managers and fostering a strong product mindset.
• Championing the adoption of the latest technologies.
• Being the decisive voice in shaping the future of Snyk Code.
• Engaging in technical discussions with Engineering and Data Science teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with some experience in the DevOps or security space.
• Deep knowledge of product management methodologies and processes.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proven ability to spark positive change and influence outcomes.
• Ability to analyze market trends to inform product strategy.
