Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Senior Culinary Operations Manager to oversee hourly team members across multiple departments. This role involves optimizing kitchen operations, building relationships with chefs, and ensuring food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity targets.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a team of associates and supervisors.
  • Provide a hospitable experience for chefs.
  • Lead growth and development of the direct team.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with food safety policies.
  • Collaborate with new Chef's team onboarding.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in commissary kitchen, preferred, and high-volume food preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
  • Food Handler’s Certification / Servsafe or similar.
  • Proficiency with Google apps.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conversational Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goals.
  • Must be able to deal with stressful situations and environment
  • Must be able to accommodate flexible working hours including early morning, late night, weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 100 pounds
  • Work in temperature controlled environments
  • Able to work onsite each work day ( TX, 78752)
