Job Description

MaintainX is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the development and optimization of its BI systems and reporting infrastructure. The analyst will be responsible for designing data models, creating relevant dashboards, and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and formulate clear, data-backed recommendations.

Role Involves:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into BI requirements and solutions.
  • Designing and implementing dashboards to provide actionable insights to sales and marketing teams.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality and governance standards.
  • Developing new metrics to better measure company performance.
  • Staying current with the latest BI technologies and trends.
  • Managing BI projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field (Master's is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Excellent proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards and full-funnel reporting.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in business intelligence.
