Job Description
Tenable is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to support a top partner and sales team. This role focuses on generating new business through collaboration with the channel team and partner to develop and qualify opportunities.
  • Collaborating with partners to generate new business
  • Attending partner and customer-facing events
  • Performing outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities
  • Following up on inbound sales inquiries
  • Scheduling meetings and demos for sales Territory Managers
  • Promoting Tenable and partner events and webinars
  • Representing Tenable at customer-facing events and trainings
  • Researching target accounts for outbound call campaigns
  • Managing and maintaining contact and account databases
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or client support
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Willingness to travel for events and meetings
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems
  • Detail-oriented and capable of accurate work
  • Familiarity with partner's processes and culture (ideal)
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools (ideal)
  • Bachelor’s degree (ideal)
