Job Description
Tenable, the Exposure Management company, is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to support a top partner and their sales team. This role focuses on generating new business through collaboration with the channel team and partner, qualifying opportunities, and building strong relationships.
- Generating new business and expansion opportunities with partners
- Attending partner and customer-facing events
- Performing outbound calls to generate sales opportunities
- Following up on inbound sales inquiries
- Scheduling meetings and demos for sales Territory Managers
- Promoting Tenable and partner events and webinars
- Representing Tenable at customer-facing events and trainings
- Researching target accounts for outbound call campaigns
- Managing contact and account databases
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or client support
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Willingness to travel for events and meetings
- Outstanding communication skills
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting
- Strong understanding of partner ecosystems
- Detail-oriented with minimal supervision needed
- Familiarity with partner processes and culture (ideal)
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools (ideal)
- Bachelor’s degree (ideal)
