Job Description
Brainlabs is seeking a Director of Data Science to execute data science initiatives, influence senior leadership, and shape the data science roadmap. This role is based in Bengaluru and operates on a hybrid work model.The Director will be responsible for building and defining Brainlabs’ global Data Science capability roadmap, focused on advanced media optimization and marketing effectiveness. They will work through all stages of product development, from defining capability to building ML/DL/AI models and communicating business impact. The role involves researching and bringing innovations to develop next-generation solutions in marketing & media analytics.Responsibilities:
  • Build and define Brainlabs’ global Data Science capability roadmap
  • Work through all stages of product development
  • Research and bring innovations to develop next-generation solutions
  • Grow and mentor a high-performing data science team
  • Estimate project efforts, creating detailed proposals
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management
  • Lead key organizational initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency
  • Analyze data and prescribe model-based recommendations/actions for the end users
  • Manage projects in an Agile environment
Requirements:
  • 13-15 years in Data Science projects, 4+ years in Marketing Analytics
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field (Math, Statistics, Analytics, Operational Research or related disciplines)
  • Experience building ML/DL/NLP/AI models (Python, R, Scala)
  • Experienced with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO as well as marketing specific models like Meridian, Robyn and PyMC
  • Deep understanding of Agentic AI frameworks (AutoGPT, BabyAGI, OpenAgents) and LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA)
  • Familiar with MLOps, ML safety and building scalable architectures on AWS, GCP, Azure, or Nvidia stack
