SingleStore is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their team in Hyderabad. The candidate will be at the forefront of real-time technology, revolutionizing how companies run their businesses. The engineer will work collaboratively and creatively across teams to maximize impact and celebrate wins together. They will be empowered to own projects end-to-end and be an active contributor throughout the product life cycle, partnering with experienced engineers for professional development. SingleStore engineers are exposed to all areas of the business, working with teams such as product, marketing, and sales.Role involves:

• Increasing the performance of a SingleStore cluster.
• Writing new Java code for CDC.
• Writing and testing software.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience.
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals.
• Strong system programming skills.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming on Linux.
• Strong understanding of Linux system programming concepts.
• Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in large-scale systems.
• Passionate about building highly reliable software.
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.
