Senior Engineer, (Java)

Job Description

SingleStore is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their team in Pune. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, real-time technology and directly impact how companies operate. The engineer will be empowered to own projects end-to-end and actively contribute throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with various teams including product, marketing, and sales.Role involves:

• Increasing the performance of SingleStore clusters.
• Writing new Java code for CDC.
• Writing and testing software.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience.
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals.
• Strong system programming skills.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming on Linux.
• Strong understanding of Linux system programming concepts.
• Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in large-scale systems.
• Additional experience with Python, and SQL.
• Passionate about building highly reliable software.
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.
