Senior Engineer, (Java)

Job Description

SingleStore is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-time technology and collaborate with various teams across the business. The Senior Java Engineer will be responsible for owning projects end-to-end and contributing to the product lifecycle. They will partner with experienced engineers to enhance their professional development and work on small, collaborative teams to drive the company forward.Role involves:

• Increasing the performance of a SingleStore cluster
• Writing new Java code for CDC
• Writing and testing software

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals
• Strong system programming skills
• Strong proficiency in Java programming on Linux
• Strong understanding of Linux system programming concepts
• Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in large-scale systems
• Passionate about building highly reliable software
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures
