Job Description

DEPT® is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications. This role involves collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers to refine features and define testable acceptance criteria. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will also execute exploratory and manual testing, integrate and maintain test automation in CI/CD pipelines, and document and troubleshoot bugs.

Role involves:

  • Building and maintaining automated tests for web, mobile, and API.
  • Contributing to QA strategies for digital products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Executing exploratory and manual testing.
  • Integrating and maintaining test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Documenting and troubleshooting bugs.
  • Promoting QA best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in QA automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Pytest).
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript, SQL/DB concepts, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Git, and code review processes.
  • Clear and collaborative communication style.
  • Ability to work independently.
