Job Description
Capco is seeking a Safety Engineer for a position in Alto do Rodrigues/RN, Brazil. The role is on-site. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits, participating in risk analyses, and supporting emergency response activities. Role Involves:
- Conducting inspections and audits
- Participating in and/or leading risk analyses
- Analyzing anomalies
- Supporting contingency and emergency activities
- Supporting occupational hygiene and ergonomics activities
- Attending audits and visits from regulatory bodies
- Training and guiding the workforce
- Supporting SMS oversight of contracts
- Collecting and recording data in computerized systems
- Supporting the organization of events
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related activities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proficiency in management practices (inspections, audits, action plans)
- Experience in preparing Preliminary Risk Analyses (APR), HAZOP, and Quantitative Risk Analyses (AQR)
- Experience in industrial plants
- Participation in large-scale emergency simulations in industrial plants
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Post-graduation in Occupational Safety Engineering (minimum 360 hours) with CREA registration
