Job Description

Capco is seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer for an on-site role in Cubatão, São Paulo, Brazil. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial safety, risk assessment, and emergency response.

Role involves:

  • Conducting inspections and audits
  • Participating in risk analyses
  • Supporting contingencies and emergencies
  • Accompanying audits and visits from regulatory agencies
  • Training and guiding the workforce
  • Monitoring services
  • Supporting SMS oversight of contracts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in activities related to the scope of service
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Experience in planning and monitoring shutdowns in large industrial plants
  • Participation in the planning and execution of large-scale emergency simulations in industrial plants
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC)
  • Post-graduation with a minimum of 360 hours in Occupational Safety Engineering, with registration in CREA
