Job Description

Capco is seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer to join their team in Ibirité/MG. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations within industrial plants. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting inspections and audits
• Participating in and leading risk analyses
• Analyzing anomalies
• Supporting contingency and emergency activities
• Supporting occupational hygiene and ergonomics activities
• Accompanying audits and visits from regulatory bodies
• Training and guiding the workforce
• Supporting SMS oversight of contracts
• Collecting and recording data in computerized systems
• Supporting the organization of events

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in activities related to the scope of the service
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Proficiency in practices for adopting management measures (through Inspections, Audits, and Action Plan Monitoring)
• Support in the preparation of Preliminary Risk Analyses (APR), HAZOP (Hazard Assessment in System Operability), and Quantitative Risk Analyses (AQR) of new or existing enterprises
• Consolidated experience with activities in industrial plants
• Participation in large-scale emergency simulations in industrial plants
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a diploma (or certificate) duly registered, provided by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC)
• Post-graduation with a minimum workload of 360 hours in the following specialties: Occupational Safety Engineering, with registration in CREA
