Finance Operations Specialist with German language

Job Description

Capco is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join their team in Bratislava. This role involves supporting client accounts throughout the sales lifecycle, from pre-deal analysis to post-deal execution and revenue recognition. The specialist will collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams, particularly during month-end close activities.

Role involves:

• Supporting a portfolio lead in the commercial management of client accounts.
• Engaging in pre-deal analysis, pricing reviews, and commercial structuring.
• Ensuring accurate billing, revenue tracking, and reporting.
• Assuming ownership of client accounts and managing executive-level relationships.
• Providing contract and revenue administration, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Facilitating month-end financial processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar commercial operations or finance role.
• Proven experience in financial and commercial analysis.
• Familiarity with IT systems such as PeopleSoft and Anaplan.
• Previous experience in professional services or consulting environments.
• Knowledge of various contract types including Time & Materials and Fixed Price.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience with MS Access.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships of trust with senior colleagues.
• Accurate, proactive, methodical and analytical approach to work.
• Structured approach to problem solving and disciplined.
• Flexible to work in a frequently changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
