Job Description

A Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer is needed in Bangkok, Thailand. The candidate will provide thought leadership in DevOps culture and help external clients with production rollout. They should drive technical discussions, close complex topics, and deliver work in an Agile practice. The individual needs a holistic understanding of new technologies and a love for experimenting to solve business problems.

Key responsibilities involve:

  • Overseeing the creation and management of an event streaming platform on premises.
  • Maintaining CI and CD pipelines for the project.
  • Supporting the rollout in production.
  • Supporting the Development team with DevOps activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle with a Dev and Ops mindset.
  • Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts, including Docker.
  • Kafka and Cassandra knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting using Python, Groovy to build CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins, CircleCI, GoCD, Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of application and system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, DataDog).
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience administrating version control systems such as Git.
  • Windows and Linux system administration skills.
  • Implemented GitOps using FluxCD.
