Senior Metrology/Lab Technician

Carbon is seeking a Senior Metrology and Print Technician to join their print development team in Redwood City, CA. This role involves collaborating with the metrology team to collect and analyze CT data of 3D printed parts and supporting engineers in executing test plans. The split of print and metrology responsibilities is roughly 50/50. This role is based full time in Carbon's Redwood City headquarters office.

Role involves:

• Collecting CT data of 3D printed parts using Nikon XTH225ST scanner and Volume Graphics software.
• Assisting engineers in executing test plans related to the printing process.
• Communicating and collaborating with other print development technicians.
• Establishing priorities with the technician team and manager.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of working in a hands-on production environment.
• High interest in wet lab work.
• Strong observational skills and high attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Past experience with GD&T, CMM systems, light or CT-based 3D scanning, and/or 3D modeling highly preferred.
